English Language Interviewing
In Poland we conduct lengthy in-depth interviews in English, to ensure that all employees have the required level of language skill for the post being applied for. When requested by employers, written English examinations can also be carried out.
Preparing Employees For Work In Jersey
Before departing Poland, all staff can receive an optional intensive English language course connected with their work abroad. This allows them to gain extra confidence with the English language through specific role-play and other teaching methods. To help give potential employees a better understanding of their living and working environments, videos of Jersey and when possible videos of living and working conditions in the Island are shown to each candidate. Each successful applicant can receive a Help-pack consisting of emergency contact telephone numbers, information about the Island's laws, history, social security, health service, education and places of interest.
